This Sunday night, the WWE will present the 2010 Survivor Series, live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL. According the arena’s website, eight matches are on the slate. Let’s run through the card along with my predictions.
WWE Tag Team Championship
Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater © vs. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov
I’m kind of shocked Santino and Kozlov are getting a title shot on a PPV but with that said, I don’t see anyway they take the straps on Sunday. Gabriel and Slater retain with a little help from the rest of Nexus.
Handicap match for the Unified Divas Championship
Layla and Michelle McCool © vs. Natalya
This looks like the night Natalya finally over comes Lay Cool. Don’t be surprised to see Natalya get a little help from some of the other Divas during the match to even the odds.
Dolph Ziggler © vs. Kaval
This match has a chance to be one of the best of the night. Look for a lot of near falls before Ziggler retains the gold.
Daniel Bryan © vs. Ted DiBiase
Much like the I/C Title match, this match should be fast paced. As for the outcome, Bryan retains via submission.
John Morrison vs. Sheamus
Good to see JoMo get an upper card feud. I expect this feud to last at least another month but for Sheamus to pick up the win this Sunday.
5 on 5 Survivor Series Elimination Match
Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Kofi Kingston, MVP and Chris Masters vs. Alberto Del Rio, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger and Tyler Reks
The feeling here is the match will come down to Show and Mysterio on one side and Del Rio and Swagger on the other before Mysterio and Show dispose of the heels, making them the two sole survivors.
World Heavyweight Championship
Kane © vs. Edge
Kane has had a pretty a good run with the gold and I don’t see it ending on Sunday. Look for Kane to pick up the win and retain the gold.
WWE Championship with John Cena as the guest referee
Randy Orton © vs. Wade Barrett
The stipulation here is if Barrett wins, Cena is free from The Nexus. If Orton wins, Cena is fired. Now the WWE has a perfect chance to turn Cena heel here but personally, I don’t think they will do it. I see Orton winning the match, thus Cena is “fired”. In next few weeks, Cena will somehow get his job back.
