In his always interesting blog, Brain Snacks, social intelligence expert Karl Albrecht has posted a survey that aspiring presenters could use to determine how successfully their attitudes about people would translate to the training room, classroom, or stage. Current presenters could also use it as an indication of their success, or lack there of, in reaching their attendees.
Karl Albrecht, Ph.D., is the author of more than 20 books, including Social Intelligence: the New Science of Success (Jossey-Bass/Wiley, 2005).
Albercht asks the question, “Are you ‘Toxic’ or Nourishing’” and provides a survey to help you identify your habits in human interactions.
The quiz can be found at this web address.
This Examiner’s assumption is that the more nurturing a trainer, teacher, or speaker is, the more likely that presenter is to achieve connections with the audience, and the success that results from those connections.
