Besides drinking this wonderful mix, the latte mix that comes in so many flavors, also makes a great addition to cakes and cookies, and will make your guest wonder,”What is that?”
When you think “Latte”, you think of the drink, you don’t think cake or cookie.Though latte’s are definitely yummy on a cold day, latte mix in the powdered form does make a cake or cookie stand up and, get moticed when the mix is added.
By just adding a tablespoon or two to the cookie dough or, the cake batter can really add another dimension of flavor. The best fit for the latte mixes, when it comes to cookies making is a basic sugar or oatmeal base. When it comes to adding the latte mix to a cake, your best bet is a white or vanilla base cake mix, it really enhances the flavor.
In addition to adding the mix to a cookie or cake mix, don’t forget to add it to your frosting also. When it comes to adding latte mixes to frosting the best base to add the mix to is a pre-made cream cheese frosting, or a whipped vanilla frosting.
