I don’t know about you but I just finished off the candy that didn’t get distributed on Halloween and started looking at turkeys in the market for Thanksgiving. But between the television commercials for department stores and slick mailers for Christmas sales, I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised that the Boise theater community is gearing up for a new batch of holiday plays & musicals to celebrate the season. And they’re premiering before you know it. Here’s a survey of local professional & community theatre offerings to get you in the holiday spirit:
A Christmas Carol presented by Knock ‘em Dead Productions – November 19 – December 18

A Christmas Twist presented by Stage Coach Theater – November 26 – December 18
Ticket pricing is $12 to $15 with discounts for students and seniors. The premiere will be celebrated with a special performance on November 27 at 6:30pm featuring holiday fun, food, and drink. Be warned: This is a dark, dark Christmas comedy appropriate for MATURE AUDIENCES who are not easily offended. Idaho Music Theater presents Cinderella – December 3 – 11
IMT is “in residence” at the Nampa Civic Center , 311 Third Street South in Nampa. Tickets are $16 with a dollar off for seniors and two dollars off for kids.
