Dr. Sreek Cherukuri is making ‘hearing’ an affordable possibility for senior citizens. Those who have been left out of conversations, overlooked in the workplace and left alone at family gatherings can now have the opportunity to join in community.
WHY? Do you hear what I hear? Jingle bells, laughter; the giggling of children, music, old movies? What better gift for Christmas? Others list top gift suggestions to buy this holiday season. This would be my recommendation. Gift someone you love with ‘hearing’ again.

“I am excited about any new low cost solution that can serve the millions of people who are just thinking about a hearing aid, or can’t afford one .”– Dr Malhotra, board-certified Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose & Throat physician), Ann Arbor, MI.
“I am an 83-year-old retired Professor of Psychology with expertise in the study of Sensation & Perception. I started looking around on the web to get some idea about what was available in hearing aids and their cost. Most started at about $1000 and went as high as $6000 for a single ear! I was not about to invest $2000 or even more to correct a hearing problem that was not severe enough to make doing something about it essential at this time. I was also pretty sure that I wouldn’t want to wear any kind of potentially uncomfortable device if I did not experience any obvious benefits.
This is where I was when my browsing took me to the MDHearingAid.com website, where I bought a single Acoustitone PRO. When it came a couple of days later, I fitted it in less than 5 minutes and wore it comfortably for a few days, hearing things I hadn’t heard in years. This trial made it clear that I could and would be able to make good use of this kind of BTE (behind the ear) hearing aid, so I bought the second aid for my right ear. The bottom line: I am very satisfied with these inexpensive hearing aids and can recommend them without any qualifications whatsoever.”– Dr. Robert Steinman, Professor Emeritus of Psychology
“Wow…I have been missing a lot. Well, first of all I want you to know that I wear glasses and to think to put a behind the ear hearing aid on would work….it does!!! (Glasses on first then the hearing aid) It is very comfortable. Over the years my hearing in my left is was going. Everyone in my family has hearing problems and all wear aids. After having a hard time hearing my husband talking and staying out of conversations, I went on the internet to look for a hearing aid. When Acoustitone Pro by MDHearingAid came up, I thought I would check it out. I read the reviews and decided to try one.
I immediately put it into my left ear. The sound was so clear. I heard things that I never thought made noise. LOL When I go to the store I would ask my husband if they are really that noisy. I am now having long and enjoyable conversations with my husband. I do not have to have him repeat what he says. Watching TV now I can turn down the volume from 50 to 28 and not miss a thing. I have my hearing aid set at 2. The hearing aid is non-noticeable on me. The only thing you can see is the tube going to the ear when I turn my head. I want to thank the MD’s that made this affordable hearing aid for us who can not pay thousands of dollars for one. It has really opened a whole new world to me.” B. Mulligan
“As someone who has worn hearing aids continuously for 35+ years I can say whole-heartedly that the Acoustitone Pro is the best quality/value hearing device available today, bar none I know this because I have two NEW (big-name) digital aids ($500/each x2 = $1000) and the Acoustitone Pros surpassed their tone and clarity by 50% at one-third the price. I have already recommended them to my friends. You are to be commended for making hearing aids affordable again. For the hard-of-hearing, owning a good, functional hearing aid is a prerequisite for having a full, rich social life. Thanks again.” Steve N.
“I have been wearing hearing aids for over 25 years, and these are the first BTE (behind the ear) aids I have tried. Their sound quality rivals that of my $3000 custom pair of hearing aids and surpasses that of any other analog aids I have owned. I have been wearing them every day for about 14 hours a day since I received them two months ago. Their performance has certainly been impressive, and I have been recommending them to my friends and family. Keep up the great work.” G. Levy
“It’s amazing how much better I hear, including so many things I heard poorly or not at all before. My hearing test showed all but the high frequencies are a little below the threshold of normal. The high frequencies however are a decidedly and obvious downward curve showing marked loss. Without hearing aids, it’s fairly easy to limp along thinking things aren’t all that bad. Amazing – with hearing aids one only then discovers how bad things truly were and how much better hearing is with the aids. Thank you so much.” M. Scrutton
