This exercise is a simple way to become more sensitive to the energies surrounding your physical body.
Sit down in a relaxed position. Start by rubbing your palms together briskly for thirty seconds. Your hands are your strong points of sensitivity and monor chakras are located in them. The rubbing helps stimulate the chakras and increases the overall sensitivity.
Hold your hands up in front of you facing each other about a foot apart, slowly move them in toward each other with out touching them. Draw them back out about six inches or so. Repeat this in and out movement you should begin to feel a pressure or energy building between your hands. There may aslo be other sensations, tickling, electricity.
You can play with it and make a small ball of energy or you can open it up into something bigger. Play with it, get to know the sensations. Do not worry about whether you are making it up or not. This is one way to develop your concentration and focusing your energy.
Practice this as much as you can.
Now practice using one hand over your arm, your arm that you do not write with. Holding your hand over your own arm about a foot and feel the subtle energies, warmth, pressure, tingling. You can slso practice on a willing friend.
