In the tropics watching tropical storm Tomas…which is beginning to get its act together again with winds of 45 mph. Tomas is expected to come close to hurricane strength before it reaches the western coast of Haiti by the weekend then move northeast. Forecast models hint that Tomas could move eastward north of Haiti and possibly stall bringing a prolonged period of very heavy rain to an area that just don’t need anymore bad weather.
