Today, on Fox News, “The Journal,” one of the panelists sounded off on “Hits and Misses of the Week” that Eric Holder was a miss.
Following is the transcript of the described hit:
Ahmed Ghailani, self confessed terrorists of the African bombings at the U.S. Embassy was acquitted of virtually all of the charges against him of this murderous attack, but one. He was tried and acquitted by a civilian jury in a civilian court, which is exactly the place where our Attorney General, Eric “Failure is no option” Holder, announced that we would be holding KSM in an ideal circumstance. He explained that failure was no option. Well, let me tell you what is no option, it is having an Attorney General like Mr. Holder.
Though Americans are outraged that Ahmed Ghailani was acquitted of more than 280 charges that he participated in the al Qaida bombings that killed 224 people, 12 Americans, in 1998, the Obama administration has not changed its mind about having terrorists trials in civilian courts.
This has rekindled the outraged voters who just turned over the House of Representatives, many of them feeling that not only is Holder no longer an option as an Attorney General, neither is Obama as a president.
If Obama is determined to try terrorists in civilian courts, should they be televised: The Dallas Morning News asked that very question once – if terrorist trials should be televised. Ask yourself before you answer if you really think the Obama administration would dare expose their incompetence so nakedly before the public eye?
