Charice Pempengco has plenty to celebrate after her monumental 2010. The 18-year-old Filipina singer was endorsed by Oprah Winfrey as “the most talented girl in the world” only to attain Gold status with her debut album, “Pyramid.” Charice then went on to land a role on one of the most popular shows on television. As Sunshine Corazon on “Glee,” Charice had two big hits with covers of “Telephone” and “Listen.”
So what is next for Charice in 2011? In an interview this week, Charice made her plans known. In addition to filming multiple episodes of “Glee” in 2011, Charice will be releasing a new album. She has been very busy in the studio with Sean Garrett, adding a new hip-hop flare to her work.
But Charice is not limiting herself to music and television. The aspiring actress also has her sights set on the big screen. She has talked about hopes for doing a thriller or even a musical like “Grease.”
The young singer will also be branching out into the perfume world. As reported on Tuesday, Charice will launch a line of three distinct scents in January.
