It is difficult even to determine a timeframe associated with this drink, much less a location or origin of name. This drink loosely belongs to the era of naming drinks after terms associated with sex, and this very well may be where it’s name originates. There is no strong evidence supporting this though. Possibly, it’s ingredients itself may be the answer beind the mystery of this drinks name origin. Creme de banana is an ingredient in every recipe given for this drink, however this is only speculatory.
It is important to note that this drink certainly does not belong to the newer sub “tini” era, nor does it belong to the era prior to this, so logically it is where it belongs. There is no specific location associated with this drink and it certainly was not invented by any spirit brand, seeing as brands always place advertisements for their newest creation. This drink is not associated with the Banshee, although it’s ingredients are extremely similar, the timeframes are of different eras.
