It’s that time of year again. Area arts organizations are preparing for holiday art exhibitions and sales. Here are three holiday related visual arts events taking place next month through St. Paul-area organizations that promote and provide arts education:
White Bear Center for the Arts- Members’ Show Reception and Holiday Party
On Friday, December 3rd, from 5:30-7:30pm in the Theater Lobby Gallery on the West Campus of Century College in White Bear Lake, MN, White Bear Center for the Arts is hosting a Members’ Show Reception and Holiday Party. The event is free to the public, but donations are suggested, and proceeds will benefit families at East Metro Women’s Council. College of Visual Arts Gallery- CVA Holiday Art Sale
The College of Visual Arts in St. Paul is hosting a 3-day art sale in its gallery from December 3rd through the 5th. The event begins with a Preview Party on December 3rd from 5 to 8pm. Over two thousand artworks are offered at this annual sale, with proceeds benefiting the CVA scholarship fund. The sale features artwork by students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Art At Ramsey- 16th Annual Holiday Art Fair
On Saturday, December 4th from 10am to 5pm, the Ramsey Junior High Gymnasiums and Cafeteria at 1700 Summit Avenue in St. Paul, MN will be filled with a wide variety of arts and crafts to present the 16th Annual Holiday Art Fair. Admission to this one-day fair is free to the public. A collaborative effort between St. Paul Public Schools, Highland/Mac/Groveland Community Education, and Artists’ Circle, the Holiday Art Fair features over 70 local artists presenting baskets, book art, clay, collage, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, mosaic, painting, paper, printmaking, sculpture, wearables, wood, and more one-of-a-kind gifts. There will also be a Youth Art Fair featuring student artists ages 10 to 18 taking place from 10am-4pm.
