When the United States is trying to help less developed countries, also known as under developed countries, and as 3rd world countries, the U.S. needs to help the country develop its education system, also encourage the country to become more free and democratic, and also encourage its economy to use capitalist principles. The U.S. needs to encourage these three improvements within the country because it is these three factors that lead to the development of new ideas, innovations, and wealth creation.
New ideas are not created out of nowhere, or on their own. New ideas and improvements on how to do activities are created by individuals talking to each other. By reading and talking to others people learn about each others thoughts, and each others efforts on trying to do something, and each others failures.
A good education system is important because it gives everyone in a nation a solid foundation of knowledge and information that allows many people with different backgrounds, and experiences, and interests to gain the knowledge and understanding of the world. This knowledge allows everyone to be able to pursue their dreams, and goals, and their desires, and in the process contribute to the development and economic growth of a nation.
Capitalism is also the best system for creating new technologies and for people to be able to pursue their ideas and goals. Capitalism allows anyone to be able to develop a new idea, or to be able to pursue a dream, or goal, and then to be able to work to see it become a reality. This is because everyone in society has the freedom to start a new business or project. People in a capitalist society also have the most incentive to pursue their dreams and ideas, because of the money and the wealth they can earn from being successful.
Also capitalism allows for failure. Only through many people developing concepts and ideas and failiing in the process do other people learn what does not work. People learn from other’s failure and improve on the idea so they can further develop the idea. It is only by allowing lots of ideas and concepts to be attempted by many different people, no matter how good or bad the idea is, or how posssible an idea is, that great things happen. Great things also happen because each idea gets an equal chance of succeeding, and it is only through the success that an idea brings that determines whether an idea or invention survives or is discarded and gotten rid of. With such a large number of ideas attempted, and with such a large diversity of ideas attempted, that even when a majority of the ideas fail there are still a lot of ideas that succeed and have a positive impact on people’s lives and society. Failure also gets bad ideas out of development. If people were not allowed to fail then even bad ideas would be implemented and their creations would exist within society.
So a country that has a good education system, and that is a democracy, and is a capitalist nation, is a country that has the most success at growth and the development of new ideas. This is in comparison to a country such as a communist nation or a dictatorship where only a few individuals’ ideas are listened to, and allowed to be pursued and implemented and put into society. This creates a great reduction in innovation due to the limited number of people who are allowed to express themselves. Also, these few individuals’ ideas, and ways of doing things, are implemented and followed even if they do not work, and have negative effects on society, and do not do what the individual claims they will do and accomplish.
Countries that do not have these three traits and characteristics will have a more difficult time developing. This is why the U.S. needs to encourage other countries to improve their education systems, and to improve the freedoms that exist for their people, and to become capitalist economies.
