What ever happened to John McCain the Senator willing to reach across the aisle in order to get things done for the country.
John McCain used to be a media darling, but that all changed when he lost to Barack Obama, a man he feels is not qualified and doesn’t deserve to be President. Well to that I say, get over it. You lost. Deal with it.
John McCain needs to get over the fact that he will never be President, now all he is doing is showing the people that voted against him that they made the right decision.
He clearly does not have the temperament for the job of President, angry, bitter; quick to fly off the handle these are qualities not conducive to being a productive President.
John McCain has shown himself to be nothing more then a bitter, anger old man who simple cannot get past begin beat by a younger less experience Senator.
Instead of showing a little grace and becoming a helpful elder statesman John McCain has decided to make it his personal business to try to make sure Obama is not seen favorably.
Before yesterdays victory on the 9/11 bill, McCain a former pilot and prisoner of war voted against getting the Hero’s of 9/11 the help they needed and that is not it.
He has voted against funding that would help combat veterans who are suffering from depression and may be suicidal.
He has voted against DADT saying, “Today is a very sad day,” he also said. “There will be high-fives over all the liberal bastions of America,” from “the elite schools that bar military recruiters from campus” to “the salons of Georgetown.”
McCain also voted against immigration bill he once sponsored. On the day he voted against DADT he voted against the dream act, something I am not sure the old McCain would have done.
He also tried to run out the clock on the anti- proliferation START treaty, all because he is bitter over losing an election.
Well maybe he should stop blaming Obama and the media for losing and start thinking about some of the decisions he made during the campaign.
Here are a few events John McCain should think about the next time he decides to through a temper tantrum over losing the election.
1)Next time don’t pick a joke for a running mate.
2) When the economy collapses it is not a good idea to come out the next day and say the fundamentals of the economy are strong.
McCain did himself in so he really needs to get over the loss to Obama.
