At a time when the economy is in total meltdown mode, when Phoenix police officers and Arizona border patrol agents are being slaughtered by a drug war Obama refuses to fight, Congress focuses on gays in the military while it has no ability to help us win the wars we are waging or turn the economy around.
The censorship regarding any opposition to DADT’s repeal is fierce. There simply is no opposition. When big brother says that he is holding up five fingers even though he is holding up four, you are directed to agree with him and see five fingers; otherwise, he will beat you into submission until you agree to see five fingers. Then he will reward you.
In this context of DADT, big brother has said that men can be women and women can be men and there is no difference with real women and men. That is the equivalent of saying there are five fingers when there are really four. When you can get people to go along with this, you end up with a Marxist socialist utopia where you clearly understand that the state is the source of reality and the individual has no reality outside of what the state says. The result will be horrific misery.
Interestingly, articles are popping up all over the media about naked politics stating that there is really no issue about gays and heterosexuals sharing locker rooms since it has been going on forever.
This is true in a free society context. If you do not like the locker room, you do not have to be there. You can leave.
There is a totally different scenario when you have no choice. When you are forced to be in a group for any length of time and you have to abide by the group’s rules you have no choice. The armed services are one such group. For a certain length of time, you have to abide by the group’s rules or suffer the consequences. Prisons are another such group.
Hotair.com just penned one such article stating it really is no big deal sharing close quarters with openly gay individuals. Keep in mind now that the context is not where the individual is free to leave if he wants to. He is compelled to be in these close quarters whether he likes it or not.
Hot Air’s Allahpundit tells us in his article “Barney Frank: Let’s calm down about straight and gay troops showering together”
“A fun exchange via CNS News. Like Frank, I don’t quite get the worry here. For one thing, as DADT supporters often point out, there are already plenty of gays in the military (albeit closeted), so if the fear is of servicemen surreptitiously checking out their comrades in the showers, why bring it up now? If that sort of thing happens at all, presumably it’s been happening for years. Is the idea that gay troops will feel emboldened to ogle their platoon-mates more conspicuously now that they can be open about their orientation? I find that hard to believe given all the ink spilled lately about the number of combat troops who oppose repealing DADT (especially within the Marines). Gay servicemen surely realize that they’ll have to tread lightly in revealing their orientation; as one Army officer told the Times the other day, “The first gay men (as the infantry is all male) are going to need very thick skins.” More…
For the record Barney Frank is gay. Isn’t the whole point of the gay lifestyle that men are attracted to men and women are attracted to women and as part of that attraction physical intimacy is a factor? Isn’t the whole point of repealing DADT to let gay military men and women have physical relationships without fear of reprisal?
So according to the above quote, gays in the military will have so much self control that they never accost that good looking naked man or woman. The question then becomes why are gays given such preferential treatment in the locker room forcing heterosexuals to bare all whether they like it or not?
If that is the military directive, then why aren’t men and women thrown all together making all facilities coed? Presumably if gays in the military have moral superiority and can be trusted to act with honor and never harass heterosexuals in the showers then so can men and women be thrown together in the same settings.
Or is it that heterosexuals are morally inferior and cannot be trusted to act with the same code of conduct as gays? And if this is true, isn’t this what racism and bigotry is made of favoring gays over heterosexuals. Couldn’t heterosexuals claim they are being discriminated against by not being allowed in close quarters with women like gays? This is quite confusing
Notice the latter part of the above quote.
“Gay servicemen surely realize that they’ll have to tread lightly in revealing their orientation; as one Army officer told the Times the other day, “The first gay men (as the infantry is all male) are going to need very thick skins.”
You have got to be kidding. This last statement implies that gays are going to have to “tread lightly” now that they have repealed don’t ask don’t tell. That will not happen. There will be hundreds if not thousands of lawsuits where heterosexuals accused of harassment will be thrown out of the service with relatively no proof. Do you remember during the Clinton years how many thousands of male service members were thrown out of the service for being accused of sexual harassment? The accusations went back decades and that was good enough to dismiss career officers. There was no need for proof.
The same will happen here. This will be payback for the thousands of gays dismissed from the service under DADT. It will happen. How can it not? And this will all be viewed as normal and an affirmation of civil rights.
You will also notice in the attached video “… how quickly Barney Frank changes the subject when CNS’ reporter asks whether male and female troops should be allowed to shower together too.” Politically correct racism is now mainstream.
Keep in mind again that these service members have no choice in the matter. Rules are rules even if patently unfair and favor one service member class over another. Prisons are the same only the consequences are even more severe.
We wonder how long this article will stay published. The last one published lasted less than 24 hours before it was vaporized by the finger counters. This hand has five fingers on it. How many fingers do you see? “Five,” you say. You will rot in hell until you give us the right answer.
