Every day we are flooded with a new mmorpg that gamers can enjoy, but which ones are actually worth playing? Having spent hours searching for a good one, Aika Online is definitely a game that catches ones attention at their unique approach to certain aspects of the game. When you first log into the game you must choose out of 5 nations that you would eventually like to become a citizen of when you hit level 10. Let’s take a look at the nations and what they offer us:
Most citizens of our first nation appear to be concerned with justice and fair play. They want to preserve honor, respect and chivalry. They strive to be honorable and place great importance on maintaining their reputation. If any nation or individual attempts to cheat an Alethian, rest assured they will be dealt with swiftly.
Lenaria is the second nation, and probably the most social of them all. Questing and socializing has become a big part of this nation, as they value friendship and the community over materialism. While Lenarians may view the other nations as too war hungry, they will still ally themselves with the others for the sake of international relations.
Feonir isn’t so much about war as they are more inclined towards exploring and acquisition. Those gamers that join this server spend a lot of time protecting their relics and altars no matter what. They are interested in the depth and variety of the world, especially when it pertains to crafting. Knowing what mobs drop what items goes a long way in this nation. Having spent plenty of time with this nation, it is definitely a decent description of what you will find here.
Vanov is the most militaristic of the nations, putting a big emphasis on their guilds and their leaders don’t put up with dissent. Vanov is definitely not the best place for gamers that prefer to be the anti-establishment type. Citizens of Vanov have taken to trusting the people in their guilds and those they trust.
This is definitely not the nation for those that are weak of heart. Ostyrions lust for the kill, no matter how unfair or immoral. They possess no national pride, with the exception of looking down on members of other nations. Having enjoyed time on this server, it is definitely a cut throat one.
These are the five nations that one must choose from when they first log in, and choosing which one fits you can be important. Nations are allowed to attack the others to try and take their relics; these relics offer citizens of the nation that owns them blessings that increase certain stats. The most interesting thing one should notice when choosing a nation though is the crown next to the names. The nation bestowed with the crown is the one that has the least members, therefore anyone that chooses that nation and plays on the pvp server will be given a special experience charm and weapons for every ten levels up to level thirty.
Aika Online is a game full of possibilities and intrigue; it should definitely be recommended to anyone that is looking for a Free to play mmorpg. The nations are just the tip of the iceberg, and more will be covered in the future. Until next time, game on!
