On Friday, Oprah Winfrey once again turned into Santa Claus, doling out free (and expensive) gifts to some of her best fans in “Oprah’s Ultimate Favorite Things” episode. With medics literally on-hand should any audience member faint from excitement, the estimated retail cost of the prizes Oprah gave her audience surpasses $10,000.
And that’s before Oprah surprised viewers with a 7-day Royal Caribbean cruise.
So what other prizes were offered on “Oprah’s Ultimate Favorite Things?” According to USA Today, here’s just a sampling:
A Sony 3D television set, a Philip Stein diamond watch, a Tory Burch tote and matching flats, a Nikkon camera, a Ralph Lauren cashmere sweater, Judith Ripka earrings, candles, hair care products, a panini-maker, frozen mac & cheese, a knife, a brownie pan, Jay-Z’s new book, a five-hear membership to Netflix, four pairs of Nike shoes and an Oprah t-shirt.
If you’re heart skipped a beat upon reading the goodies Winfrey gave away, you better bypass Monday’s upcoming episode of “Oprah,” as part two of “Oprah’s Ultimate Favorite Things” continues in just two days. And while Oprah remains mum on the prizes that will be awarded to her audience, expect more screams, cries, and tears of joy.
You can catch the next episode of “Oprah” on Monday at 4 pm ET (ABC) in Boston.
