The Severns and Pease families in Sunnyvale have created a Christmas light display with 88,000 lights; 75% of which are LED and solar powered. The lights dance to music and are flanked by artificial snow and stationary light displays. The light show is free to the public and guests are welcome to view the light show from the sidewalk or by car.
The Severns and Pease families ask that in return for viewing their free Christmas light show, guests make a donation to Second Harvest Food Bank. The donation can either be food or monetary. The Severns Family Foundation will match the donations received by Second Harvest Food Bank from this event.
The goal is to raise $80,000 this year, and as of today, the Severns and Pease families’ light show has raised $62,000.
The Christmas light show put on by the Severns and Pease families is located at 1164 and 1168 Tangerine Way in Sunnyvale, Ca. For guests who stay in their car, please tune the radio to 104.1 FM in order to hear the music synced up with the dancing lights.
