When Halle Berry announced her marriage with Eric Benet was dissolved because he was “addicted to sex,” I think it’s safe to say that America was shocked. Of course he’s addicted to sex, he’s married to Halle freakin’ Berry.
Then David Duchovny admitted himself to sex rehab, followed by Tiger Woods and Jesse James who hitched on the addicted-to-sex bandwagon.
Before we knew it, this “syndrome” has become a Hollywood out for many who can’t keep it in their pants.
But what does sexual addiction mean? Is it cheating or is there really such a “disease” as being addicted to sex? And is it only considered cheating when your partner/spouse fails to keep up with your sexual encounters?
A recent ChicagoTribune.com article uncovers the ins and outs of this trending addiction and chats with the Sexual Recovery Institute, which claims that business has skyrocketed by 50% from a year ago.
