You talk the talk, but do you walk the walk?
If the latest job opening at St. Arnold Brewery, Houston’s beloved craft brewing operation, interests you in any way, you better make sure you have the walk and the talk down pat. St. Arnold Brewery is in need of tour guides for its Saturday tours and it is seeking individuals who know the brewery and its products well and can commit themselves to working about forty Saturdays each year.
St. Arnold is open each Saturday between 11am and 3pm, with tours held at 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm. The tours are short, but informative. Guides need to know their St. Arnold brewing history, know about craft brewing, and know at least a little about brewing in general.
Crowds at St. Arnold can grow quite large, but the actual tours are smaller in size. At the designated hours, guests in the beer hall can choose to join the guide for a tour of operations. The size of the tour is limited so that it doesn’t get out of hand. Still, the crowds can be substantial in size and guides must be able to project their voice loudly enough for all to hear.
If you think you have what it takes, all you need to do is submit an updated resume along with a one- minute You Tube video of yourself. The video can include most anything, but should stick to speaking skills, beer industry knowledge, etc. Consult the web site for more information on who to contact for this paid position.
What better way to begin each weekend!
