No stranger to celebrity guests, Atlanta’s prestigious Mansion on Peachtree, A Rosewood Hotel & Residence is busy prepping to host what is arguably one of their most famous guests on record, Santa’s beloved scout elf “Elf on the Shelf”. Checking in on November 26th, this sweet little guy has strict instructions to keep Santa updated about guests and staff who are naughty or nice. Each evening leading up to Christmas, the scout elf will fly back to the North Pole to share his findings with Santa. Throughout the scout elf’s visit, The Mansion on Peachtree will post photos of the elf’s whereabouts through their Facebook fan page. The posh Buckhead boutique hotel also invites guests to search all the shelves and find the scout elf’s secret location each morning following his return from the North Pole for a chance to win prizes awarded at the concierge desk.
On December 19, The Mansion on Peachtree welcomes “The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition” authors Carol Aebersold and Chanda Bell to host a whimsical Elf on the Shelf Cupcake Tea, featuring a food and fun in addition to a very special book reading and signing. Young visitors will be treated to a special holiday tea service menu complete with festive miniature cupcakes and traditional assorted tea sandwiches for adults. Tea party attendees are encouraged to bring their own copies of “Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition” for the signing, but gift sets will also be available for purchase during the event. The Elf on the Shelf Cupcake Tea begins at 2:30 PM in NEO Restaurant and is $40 for children ages 3-12 and $52 for adults; inclusive of tax, gratuity and valet parking. Reservations are required,

Parents and kids 5 & up won’t want to miss the scrumptious Holiday Cookie Decorating Class hosted by Chef Scott Hemmerly (December 4, 12 and 18th at 1:30 p.m.) Aspiring young chefs will hone their cookie decorating techniques with plenty of icing, sprinkles and other fun decorations as they transform their tasty gingerbread men into delightful and delicious holiday masterpieces. Participation is $25 per child inclusive of tax & gratuity, and includes cookie decorating, hot apple cider, hot chocolate and valet parking for parents. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
