Paulding County officers on Friday arrested the three men they believed went on a tire slashing spree across the county. But they have not released a motive for the slashings.
More than 40 tires were slashed, amounting to thousands of dollars in damages, after the culprits crept into their victims neighborhoods late at night and slashed their tires, sometimes slicing into more than one tire on the same vehicle, according to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Department.
The incidents date back to Monday and investigators are still tallying the number of victims and the dollar amount on the damages, sheriff’s spokesman Mr. Brandon Gurley said.
Mr. Stephen Robert Nally, 19, Mr. James Parke Altman, 20, and Mr. Gregory Lee Davis, 21, all from Dallas, were charged with multiple counts of second-degree criminal damage to property and criminal trespass, Mr. Gurley said.
More charges are possible against the men, who have been denied bond and remained in the Paulding County jail Saturday, Mr. Gurley said.
