True happiness can be achieved similarly; gradually with each positive step taken. Mankind can change its perspective, cease negative patterns, and with a realistic approach can achieve positive life altering results. This can be accomplished by candidly evaluating the current situation, and then frankly admitting the necessary positive steps to take that would lead to a better future.
The future is not set in granite. It is changeable. The future occurs when it becomes the present. One can change their future. One can determine a future lifestyle. All steps taken today in life matter.
Most do not realize that their mindset can prevent them from having the satisfying lifestyle they truly desire. A negative outlook can prevent a person from completing a required short term positive goal. Each thing a person does will determine their future’s outcome. One should straightforwardly evaluate if completing a negative or positive life pattern. A person’s happier and healthful future depends upon proper assessment of the current situation.
The majority of unhappy people have not achieved the life they thought they would. These are the type of person who has figuratively shot himself in the foot each time a positive opportunity arrived in his life that would lead to a better lifestyle. This occurs by not incorporating each positive opportunity as it appears in one’s life. An example of this would be not to complete four years of college when receiving a Bachelors degree would achieve the goal of having the opportunity for an occupation that is in a person’s primary field of interest.
Being too critical, judgmental or feeling as if battling against one’s nature is another way to prevent inner happiness. One has to make allowances for being human. Everyone who is a human being makes mistakes. Errors are manmade and correctable, even if they create daunting challenges or postpone long term happiness goals.
As one grows from experience a person’s life preference may alter. One should allow some flexibility. This gives a realistic approach toward one’s life and may bring about unexpected happier results. Setting goals rigidly could cause severe unhealthful stress or prevent one from taking a leap that would bring about a happier life sooner. Enjoy the day!
