The twelve days of Christmas-at the Southern Christmas Show Charlotte-are quickly coming to an end. ‘Tis the time to take advantage of great deals on unique clothing, accessories and jewelry before this festive event ends for the year.
First, for fabulous handbags, stop by Beijo Bags (Booth 3101 in Freedom Hall) and see representative Kelly Kepley. These one-of-a-kind bags will not only make awesome gifts, they are the perfect ‘night out’-or shopping-companion.
Designed by Susan Handley (who began designing bags at the age of 10), Beijo Bags are available in every size, shape and color imaginable. Each design consists of dividers and compartments to accommodate each and every daily essential.
Most Beijo bags are made with material that allows for a solid, fully saturated color. Therefore, scratches are of no concern and cleaning is a breeze! Prices range from $65-$135 for bags and accessories cost between $15-$60. The best part of a Beijo Bag? The company consistently donates to benefit research and patient support organizations around the country.
Before leaving Freedom Hall, go get some Chicadoo hats and scarves. Chicadoo products are selling out so don’t miss out on the hottest new line of innovative outerwear accessories.
For funky clothing, head over to Independence Hall and visit Susan Kaminsky, owner of Loose Lucy (Booth 2414). With 5 stores and 20 years in business, this is the Loose Lucy brand’s first year at the Southern Christmas Show Charlotte. Susan says she has been constantly rearranging and restocking merchandise due to a high volume of traffic.
Loose Lucy prices range from $15-$40. These designs are focused on ‘hippy-style’ women’s sundresses, skirts, dashiki and tunic shirts, super cute rain boots and wings and tutus for little girls.
There are several incredible jewelry vendors such as Butterfly Guys and Stoned Jewelry. The jewelry vendor that stands out as most unique is Back to Classic Designs (Booth 913).
Marie Winter owns designs and creates all Back to Classic Design jewelry. Her creations are modern vintage. While they look like family heirlooms, there is a sense of modern flair and a shockingly low price tag attached to each design. Cameos, pearls and crystals make up most of Back to Classic Design bracelets, necklaces, earrings and brooches.
In the midst of this shopping heaven, take a rest by watching artisans create their crafts, grab a snack from Helmut’s or wander to the back of Liberty Hall for wine and snack samples.
November 21 is the last day of Southern Christmas Show Charlotte 2010. Don’t miss out!
